Business issues
- "While external threats receive significant media scrutiny, internal threats remain more common and more costly."
- "How can we be sure we are up to date? Our IT staff is thin at best, and although they are very competent, information security issues move fast."
- "Software vendors issue new patches and updates on a weekly, if not daily basis. How can we be sure we are up to date?"
- "New software is installed with default settings that are very weak from a security standpoint. How do we harden these devices for security?"
LarsonAllen's response
Sometimes referred to as internal penetration testing, our internal vulnerability assessment services are designed to assess your network security posture from the inside. Our information security technicians are experts in the latest networking and operating systems. From Windows 2000 to the latest flavors of Linux, from Citrix to VPN, our security technicians have the expertise to harden your network for all internal and Internet-exposed platforms.
Most operating systems, applications and network devices have the ability to provide a reasonable level of security, however, these security capabilities are typically not enabled in the initial installation. The default installation must first be “hardened.”
