United Way Worldwide CFO to Speak at LarsonAllen Conference
MINNEAPOLIS—April 14, 2010—Robert Berdelle, chief financial officer of United Way Worldwide, has been chosen as the keynote speaker for LarsonAllen’s 2010 Nonprofit and Foundation Conference. The conference, held May 6 in Minneapolis, will focus on nonprofit organizational leadership and issues related to health care reform.
Berdelle’s presentation will focus on leadership and accountability in a nonprofit setting, a topic with which he has substantial experience. Before joining United Way Worldwide, he was the chief operating officer of United Way of Metropolitan Chicago, which formed after he led the merger of United Way of Chicago and 52 suburban Chicago United Ways. This merger and integration led to a 25 percent reduction in operating costs of the new organization.
