Matthew Claeys Appointed Leader of LarsonAllen’s Philadelphia Office
Matthew Claeys
Matthew Claeys, CPA, became principal-in-charge of the firm’s Philadelphia office, effective November 1, 2010. Claeys previously served as leader of the hospital and health system division within LarsonAllen’s health care practice. He retains his duties supervising the firm’s Mid-Atlantic and Northeast health care professionals.
As principal-in-charge of the Philadelphia office, Claeys oversees an annual operating budget in excess of $25 million and manages more than 100 professionals and staff. He will also help continue to support the growth strategies for the office’s other industries and service lines.
Claeys has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting. He started his own firm, Claeys CPA, in 1990, which was acquired by LarsonAllen in 1997. Claeys is a member of the Philadelphia chapter of the Health Care Financial Management Association (HFMA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
