
Koch Will Bring Substantial Transaction and Audit Experience to the Southeast

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina—June 7, 2011—Tim Koch joined LarsonAllen’s Charlotte office as an audit partner and regional practice leader for the firm’s transaction support team. He will serve private equity firms, strategic buyers, and companies across a wide variety of industries, many with international operations.

Prior to working at LarsonAllen, Koch was the head of the transaction services practice at a regional accounting firm where he worked with private equity groups and strategic corporate buyers. Koch’s background includes audit and transaction experience with an international accounting firm as well as serving as CFO of a large middle market closely held business. Koch brings substantial restructuring and advisory experience from his tenure as a senior financial officer of a publicly traded company that underwent restructuring under bankruptcy. The majority of Koch’s career has been focused on servicing the needs of the middle market with an emphasis on buy-side due diligence in deals ranging from $1 million to more than a billion.

Koch holds a bachelor of science in accounting from Western Michigan University and has completed the Advanced Business Advisor program at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, now referred to as the Booth School of Business. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA), and the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG).
